Meraki is an android application program developed by NavGurukul Foundation, focused on making programming and digital skills accessible to the marginalised communities, especially girls from different communities, through a smartphone, and working to create direct job opportunities or admissions to aspirational training programs to bridge the gender tech-gap. NavGurukul Foundation and Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences, Deemed to be University (KISS-DU) have collaborated to teach young learners from the 18+ age group from various indigenous communities, build their social and technical skills, empowering them to develop as leaders and be employment ready for the Information Technology sector. Meraki is a self-paced learning application with live master classes and also offers an offline python compiler, within the app, called Playground to practice coding.
