In line with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) earmarked by the United Nations to attain peace and prosperity for people and the planet, KISS is taking decisive steps at the local level, with education, food security and healthcare at the forefront. The foundation is educating and equipping thousands of tribal children to lead a prosperous life. 

The Mega Kitchen at KISS, which made its way to a National Geographic documentary, feeds over 30,000 students with balanced meals cooked in an eco-friendly method. A mega laundry unit helps wash clothes in an energy-efficient manner. A hundred-bedded hospital in association with Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences enables free health checkups and treatment of KISS students on campus. 

Smart classrooms installed in collaboration with Oracle facilitates interactive learning for the students. The award-winning mother tongue-based multilingual education program has helped reduce language constraints. Vocational skill training such as tailoring, food processing, animal husbandry is reaping rewards, enhancing the employability of tribal students.
