Kalinga Fellowship

Instrumental in establishing the Kalinga Fellowship in joint partnership with the Bridge Institute, KISS, Ashoka Foundation, FXB India, Prajwala, UNWOMEN and the US Consulate Hyderabad. The fellowship, which has successfully run for 3 years was envisioned as a 10-year programme bringing together the highest levels of government, business and society to advance #SDG5 – Gender Equality – globally. The programme started in the State of Odisha in 2017 to address the issue of sexual harassment at the workplace and in the State of Telangana in 2018 the focus was on gender based violence, and allows leaders from Government, Business and Civil Society to jointly seize opportunities to collaborate, coordinate and collectively act for the UN’s vision of #GenerationEquality – to create an impact that will stop sexual exploitation and create a systemic response/environment of zero tolerance towards any kind of sexual abuse/exploitation.
