KISS Bhubaneswar has been sanctioned a project by TRIFED to conduct Entrepreneurship and Skill Development (ESDP) training for 156 Van Dhan Vikas Kendra (VDVK) covering 14 tribal districts under 22 Integrated Tribal Development Authority (ITDAs) with an aim to inculcate entrepreneurial culture among Van Dhan community (members of Van Dhan Vikas Kendra). TRIFED selected KISS as training partner, to train around 5000 women directly on entrepreneurial skill and provide them mentorship so that 50,000 women’s socio-economic status significantly changes. KISS created 40 master trainers (at local level) to impart Entrepreneurship and Skill Development Program (ESDP) training to the Van Dhan Vikas Kendra (VDVK) members in the field. The master trainers are senior experienced persons from developmental background having long experience in working with the SHG community and forest based livelihood. As per the commitment KISS has directly trained 2000 Tribal Women Entrepreneurs using 40 master trainers at community level.
