Tushar is a sociologist and administrator with over a decade’s work experience. His interests delve into the problem statements of vulnerable sections and assertion of their rights. Tushar has written extensively on Dalits and Tribals, and is an alumnus of JNU and IVLP (US Department of State). Prior to joining KISS, he worked for UNDP on Displacement and Rehabilitation domain and worked directly with tribal communities, this bringing on table, both theory and praxis. At KISS, Tushar heads the English Access Program in collaboration with the US Department of State, in addition to overseeing research conducted at KISS.
