As many as 27,000 students of KISS remembered the contribution of first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru in nation building today. They also watched the live telecast of Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s address at the state-level Children’s Day celebration.
The tribal students also took pledge to become good human beings and do something good for the society and country on the occasion.
“We were so encouraged by the speech of the Chief Minister. Each word of his speech was very touchy. We will definitely follow his advice. We (the 27,000 tribal children), staying in KISS, could also follow his advice to study well, take moral responsibility of our parents and work for the development of our native place, society, state and nation,”
said a girl student.
